Tivoli turismo

The remains of the Mensa Ponderaria, dating back to the first century AD, are located near the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. They were discovered only in 1883 during some works.

The Mensa was a former commercial space dating back to the Roman Empire. Two workbenches can still be seen as well as the Augusteum, a small chapel dedicated to the worship of the Emperor Augustus.
