Damaged during the bombing of 1944 and restored around 1951, the Church of St. Peter of Charity is characterized by a unique Romanesque style, which makes it one of the most beautiful places of worship in Tivoli. It was built by Tivoli-born Pope Simplicio on the ruins of an ancient Roman villa.
The Church of San Biagio is located in the central Piazza del Plebiscito. Built in the late 14th century, it contains a fine fresco of the Crucifixion dating back to 1200.
