St. Sylvester's Church is one of the most beautiful places of worship in Tivoli. Its construction dates back apparently to the 11-12th century. It is linked to Pope Sylvester, appointed by Emperor Constantine to turn the papal basilicas into Christian buildings.

The sanctuary of Quintiliolo is outside Tivoli's historic center and houses the sacred image of the Virgin Mary of Quintiliolo, a still worshipped religious icon dating back to the 13th century.

Saint Lawrence's Cathedral, also known as Tivoli Cathedral, is the most representative place of worship of the town. It is located in Saint Lawrence's square and was built around 1635, although its origins go back to the 6th century AD.
