The Shrine of Our Lady of Quintiliolo is located just outside the historic centre of Tivoli, on a hill surrounded by olive trees. The name Quintiliolo derives from the territory owned by the Quintili family. Their villa once stood here and the church and then the convent were built on the site.
Saint Lawrence's Cathedral, also known as Tivoli Cathedral, is the most representative place of worship of the town. It is located in Saint Lawrence's square and was built around 1635, although its origins go back to the 6th century AD.
