Places of worship

Tivoli is a very important city for places of worship. The best part of the religious patrimony is located in the heart of the city and consists of St. Lawrence's Cathedral, better known as the Duomo (Cathedral) of Tivoli, Saint Mary Major's Church and Saint Sylvester's Church. Another important place of worship in Tivoli is the Shrine of Our Lady of Quintiliolo, located outside the city and dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Here you can find the Icon of the Virgin that is brought into the city during the procession on the first Sunday of May.
